Individual Therapy

Since 1979

Well over 40 Years of Practice Experience

The therapist and the “patient” or “client” first develop a trusting mutual relationship of respect and caring. The therapist may be presented with a life transition, communication, trust or relationship difficulties. There may be something like depression, ADHD, ADD, PTSD, anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive or compulsive disorder present. People are much grander than any conditions or diagnoses and they are helped to fully understand that.

They learn the facts about their conditions, and explore options for coping and improving. They learn important, gracious communication skills and how to negotiate. If they need to develop career goals and aspirations, or discover what avocations in life will bring them true happiness, we work together to accomplish these things. The therapist is always in the client’s corner, helping him or her through his or her own long-term issues or acute crises.
